Il film è tratto dall'omonimo best-seller di Eric Schlosser dove si racconta la cultura americana dei fast food con immagini e denunce dello sfruttamento di immigrati clandestini, delle orribili condizioni igieniche con cui vengono gestiti alcuni 'ristoranti', di milioni di dollari che girano in questo 'affare, delle macellazioni degli animali e delle malattie causate da questa 'alimentazione'.

Il film non è per tutti ma se proverete l'esperienza non mangerete più un happy-meal, ve lo garantisco. Peggio di un horror splatter trash. Moooolto peggio. Buon appetito."
